Duties
- Serves as Deputy Division Chief for OTI’s Operations and Management Division, exercising strong leadership and performing management functions and effective workforce planning.
- As an expert in Federal, Agency, and Office policies and regulations, provides advice, guidance, and mentoring on administrative operations in support of crisis operations contingency programs.
- Strategically plans, organizes, and carries out analytical studies involving crisis operations support functions, preparing and contributing to reports and proposing solutions to management issues.
- Liaises with other Office divisions, Agency management and human resource offices, and institutional contractors, sharing procedures and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Analyzes, identifies and resolves problems related to contingency operations, providing specialized knowledge management support such as tracking documents, lessons learned, and best practices.
- Makes decisions on business processes that ensure efficiency and rapid response, providing recommendations for the resolution of administrative problems.
